it's my birthday in ONE WEEK! i'm gonna have a smashing good time with a couple close friends while my parents are out of town, then i'm going to a wedding in Berkeley, CA, and then i'm spending the rest of the three weeks my folks are gone to actually do something, i hope.

i really haven't done anything since i got out of school. still no job, no word from PSU, scholarships up in the air, and no apartment, although that may be taking care of itself - maybe. i think i'll have to work on that too.

i'm gonna be 19! yay! what does 19 do, anyway? at 13 you can see pg-13 movies, at 15 you can get your permit, 16 your licence, 17 rated R movies, 18 smoking, porn, and voting, 21 drinking. what does 19 do?

eh, it's not like it really matters, it's just that i will no longer be 18, which was getting kinda old. so.... people wanna hang out? i'm thinking of doing a movie outing, so i better go find that people list Bentley made. i can only see portland-area people of course (damn you bailey and alex for being in orlando the one time i'll be in california!) but that's better than no one. also, i've gotten in touch with a few old high school friends who aren't as annoying as i remember. (actually, i think i'm just less of an idiot)

well, wish me luck in the apartment, school, job, boyfriend search, kids.

ps: in case you haven't figured it out, i'm not coming back to SOU next year. i can't handle the idiotic theatre department, so i may as well just stay in portland where at least i'll be relativeley happy and comfortable.
